INTERVIEW
"fae is such a good kid, she's really intelligent and she was capable of doing a lot with her life, we just couldn't afford for her to keep going to a university like nyu. she works with her mother now, though. i really don't know much else about her life.. i'm usually really busy with work and when i'm home i'm preoccupied. i don't actually see her much since she's graduated high school, she's normally out in town."
arthur renfield, forty-seven
"i love my sister, but she's really secretive about everything she does. she doesn't really talk to any of the family anymore unless she's at mom's shop. even then her communication is very limited with us. i think she's bitter that i was able to go to and graduate college, but she ended up getting kicked out of nyu for one too many late payments."
dorian renfield, brother
"i'm really not an ex, more like a fuck buddy... i don't really know what you want from me?"
jason seward, twenty-two.
"esmerelda was a very bright student. perhaps a bit distracted, but she seemed like she had a bright future ahead of her. she really didn't have a set major in mind, but i know she could have done very well if she had really set her mind to something. it's really a pity she couldn't stay at the school. her family made too much to get too much financial aid, but not enough to pay on there own, really sad situation."
lindsay barrington, sixty-three.
"i haven't talked to esme is years. well, more like a year. since she went off to that uni in nyc and i went to stony brook. we've been friends since kinder and our families have been close since our parents were in high school. apparently my dad and her mom dated in high school, and then when they went to college they broke up for some reason - we were almost siblings! - and her mom hooked up with her dad, who used to be friends with my dad in high school. weird, right? and then my dad ended up knocking up some random chick at a party - my mom - and got married. somehow after all this drama, they all remained friends.then we were friends when we were old enough. we've been through everything together."
lori baxtor, twenty.
"we're really not enemies, but she can be a bit obnoxious with this whole "i can't tell you anythingggg, wah wah wah." sounds like some pitiful sob story to me. her brother is my boyfriend, so i have to play nice, but she just drives me batty. not to mention she's constantly calling her brother and making him come help her out of sticky situations. i guess he's just that sort of guy that he'll jump for his sibling."
michaela jorge, twenty-three.
PERSONAL
but really, i am... perfectly normal. i think that my life is fine. i regret not trying everything possible to stay at nyu, but i totally believe that everything happens for a reason. for now, i'm just having fun.
and i live by... "danger danger, lights go out and bodies exchange heat."
