"fergus is a wonderful son. he's a lot like his father was, though. very wrapped up in his work and very lost in his own world. he developed the same type of cancer his father died from only three years after his father's death. his father lived with it for twelve years, hopefully fergus wont have to deal with that torture. it was a horrible experience to find out but luckily the doctors caught it and were able to remove the small tumor from his neck. it went into remission a few months later and has only flared up twice since then. we're hoping the doctors caught the last of it, but fergus is such a strong boy and we know he can handle it. it's been in remission for almost a year now, but he's been so quiet about his life. he never comes to visit, and when he does he locks himself up with tabitha. he's such an odd child, but i love him the same. i feel so much closer to his sisters, i know with them they're out partying and living life to it's fullest and will be home before morning. while he's locked up in a lab or with his books or out doing who knows what and might be gone for days! he never confides in anyone anymore."

whatever you want to think of me. yeah, i don't like people to know my family because they're all very weird. i don't like people to get close to them also because they don't deserve to be hurt anymore. we've had about five step-fathers and it gets time consuming. i don't like pda because... well, i just don't really want to get pictures of me pasted on a magazine alongside the tagline "priscilla carlson's son on the prowl" or some aburd thing like that. i just want to live a normal life and work for the nypd svu forensics division.
