INTERVIEW
"meeko's always been a good kid. he went to school like every other kid, got decent grades, and until high school was just your everyday little boy. it was right around ninth grade when he started acting up. he was still a hard worker, but he started skipping classes and simply .. not caring. his excuse was always "if i know it, why should i have to go to school to listen to an old man talk about it." which really was not the point of school. it was to socialize and master those skills. he didn't even act out the way most teens do. they ditch to hang with their friends or do something they know they shouldn't be. no, he simply stayed in bed until he thought it was time to get up and waltzed right through the house as if it was perfectly okay to be skipping class. the faze went away, though. it was a rough couple of years but now that his dad has passed, he's doing a great job running the company, i think. him and his wife seem very happy, i think."
christine cross, fifty-two
"oh yeah meeko's a cousin of mine. thats about all i really know of him, really. we see during family functions and such, but he's really always been in his own world of his friends. we had a family bbq and there was always a posse of them there to keep him occupied playing football or just generally screwing around. i guess he's your typical young guy, right? well, we get on pretty well and his wife is just gorgeous. i mean, seriously, he's lucky to have her, but i really don't know much about her either. i think he was always closer to his dad's family than ours, though, which was understandable. he has a pretty good sense of humor and is really open about himself from what i've seen. there was a new years party with the whole fam he brought a really good male friend of his. i mean, really good, because i caught them kissing outside while everyone else was getting drunk. he had a girlfriend at the time, though, and they both seemed like it was no big deal, so i guess he's just really open and into experimenting or something."
anne galis, cousin
"this is how it is with me and meeks. we dated for awhile, but after about a year, i started to get the feeling that he really wasn't into me... or any girl for that matter. i mean, he was, but he held very high standards for the girls he was with. for the longest time he didn't even seem interested in fucking. what sixteen year old boy doesn't want sex?! anyway, he seemed really uninterested even when i threw myself at him, but he later said it was because i was his girlfriend and he felt we should wait until we really felt the bond. ughh. it frustrated me to no end because this was the boy that had more casual hook-ups than i could count. what did it matter?! i guess he had some sort of logic though, and he really enjoyed the idea of things being when he wanted them to be. i think he had a couple of other girlfriends during high school but i always remember they were the same mold. tall, but shorter than himself, long blonde - though he preferred red heads, who doesn't? - hair, busty, but not too much, blue or green eyes - brown was apparently 'boring' - and they either need to have an accent, be really good at pretending to have one, or speak another language. that was one of his kinks, apparently. his standards for a woman was so ridiculously barbie."
jessica emerson, twenty-two
"i used to be his teacher, yes, but he was a handful. he was very bored during class and although he seemed to understand the information, he really didn't seem to apply himself. he came to class maybe twice a week and acted like it was our privledge to have him grace our prescence. he was always popular with girls, but i seldom saw him pay any of them the time of day. there were only a few he really acknowledged and most of them were simply friends. he seldom did homework, and it's almost a shock that he graduated but he did. just barely."
lauren petty, sixty
"i guess we're as close as two guys can be without crossing some lines. we've known each other since childhood and we've practically dated or hooked up with all the same girls. to a lot of guys that would seem totally against the code, but it was really different with us. we sort of... shared our girls. except his wife, she was pretty much the only girl he ever really staked a claim on and said that i couldn't touch. he must really love her if thats the case. i know a lot of people think he's got so tendancies to lean towards other dudes, but i mean, have you seen his wife?!."
stanley nicollo, twenty-three
"i really, really, don't want to talk about the fag. he plays this suave game and acts like such a ladies man, but in actuality it's all just a fucking front. yeah, i know all about his extracurriculars. he may be into women, after all, he can get it up to bone his wife, but he's definitely got some bi fucking sexual tendancies. i remember partying with him one night and all of a sudden he grabbed me and started kissing me. i get that the alcohol does shit to people, but i swear he'd only had a couple drinks. then it happened again a few months later. once, i can believe is a mistake, twice is a total homo. ever since things have just been way too awkward to be friends with him. he called me out on it, we fought, and now we just bitch at each other everytime we meet."
jack lorette, twenty-six
