---because you need to reassess this stupid ultimatum! i'm not giving into it, partially because i enjoy my job, but mostly because you're missing the point and i'm not giving up on a good thing because you've incorrectly diagnosed it as the problem. the real point is that i cheated once, one time, and i admitted it to you. i love you and i can't even begin to express how much i regret it, but it's up to you to decide if you can ever trust me again. my job hasn't got anything to do with it.
