INTERVIEW
"carson's always been my little girl. even after her mother left us, she was always there beside me. as she got older, she turned into such a beautiful, amazing, talented young women. carson always loved helping me out in the shop, and she knew every tool by name. i was surprised to know that she knew more about the tools than i did, and i own a hardware store. she's always been a little rough around the edges. always trying new things, and experimenting with everything that came her way. carson puts out an exterior front, makes herself seem a lot stronger than she actually is, but i know she's still hurting inside. her mother left her when she was little, and had nobody to turn to when things got really bad. she'd hardly talk to me, and i know why. a mother can't be replaced, ever. but i think she's finally getting to the point of trying to accept the fact that her mother won't ever return. she's okay with that, and i am too. and that photography thing of hers, hell where i know that came from. i sure as hell can't see things the way she did. she's talented, my little girl's going to go far. and i am so so proud of her."
michael munro, 52.
"carson's always been my little girl. her father raised her the best he could, all by hisself. even without her mother in the picture, i'd say she's turned out just fine. i've been around her the entire time she's been alive on this earth. she's become stronger and more independent as the years go by. she doesn't rely on people to go anywhere, or to do things. she makes decisions on her own, and she knows who she is in the world. carson doesn't let anybody push her down, and doesn't give two if people don't like her. she does her own thing and doesn't let people get in the way of her happiness. which, she finally deserves. though she may not be the typical teenage girl, she's definitley different, i'm proud of her. couldn't be more proud, actually. even though i'd like to have been invited to a dance recital instead of a soap box derby game, i'm still proud. "
agnes munro, grandmother.
"carson. bitch. slut. whore. she never did anything that i wanted her to. her mother left her, i would too if i was her. i mean, we had some great moments, but nothing too memorable. the best moments to me, were the one's where i was beating the shit out of her. i told her i was sorry for what i did, but everyone knows i'm not. whatever, it's over and done with. she's ran off to new york now, who knows what the hells going on. "
travis white, 22.
"carson was always the brightest bulb in the pack. she was always the one coming in early to get help on anything she might have needed help on. she was constantly asking questions in class and almost never doubted her intelligence. she got A's on every test, and even when she made a 85, she still wanted to retake the quiz or test or whatever it was that she didn't too well on. she was the over achiever, and she excelled in most every subject. she was also an active member in the women's and mixed chorus', a active member in the theatre department, and very active in academic based clubs. i'd say, she's turned out to be a very amazing and quite remarkable student. she's succeded in life, just like i said she would. quite honestly, i couldn't be more proud. "
katherine waterford, 50.
"carson's been through a lot in her life, and everything that she's been through has just made her hell of a lot stronger than before. i saw her through the good times and the bad times and everything in between. she never let anyone see the hurt she had been through, and even when she did show her pain to me, i never once saw her cry. she's a tough chick, can conquer anything and no matter what, she knows she'll be okay. carson's the type of girl who has this rough around the edges thing. i know she may come off as a bitch, but that's from the truth. i miss her, but i'm proud of her."emily johnson, 19.
"she stole my boyfriend. boo hoooo all her damn fucking problems, who gives a fuck. she's a homewrecker & a whore. plain and simple."
naomi hawthorne, 22.
PERSONAL
but really, i am... different, and strong. i know i've been through a lot, but that doesn't change the fact that i've come out strong through this. i feel i'm misunderstood, but that's okay. not everyone's supposed to get me, and i know that. i'm just trying to make my way in this world, like everyone else.
and i live by... "i love people who can make me laugh. i honestly think it's the thing i like most, to laugh. it cures a multitude of ills. it's probably the most imprtant thing in a person"
