yeah, i was going to bring that up but i guess i was just trying to prolong the awkwardness as long as possible. rafaela and i are friends, and i asked her out on a date for this weekend, completely unaware that the two of you were close until she brought it to my attention.
i hope you believe me when i tell you i don't have any bad intentions, it's just a first date with both of you and i'd really like to get to know each of you better. i'd never let things get further with both of you or try to play you or anything like that. if you're not comfortable with it i completely understand but i really like you thea and i hope we can still go out and see what happens.

honestly, i don't even know what to think right now. i wasn't even aware you had asked her on a date. i'm not upset, though, or anything. i think that it would be a better idea to put ours off, though, undoubtedly. have fun with her, ferris. she's really great.

i know she's a good friend which is why i'm encouraging you to go out with her. you'll have to tell me all about it, though, so i can smile and laugh at all of the appropriate times.
