i love her more than anything in the world but i wasn't ready for this life. i gave up a lot but i got a lot in return. if things weren't so complicated right now i'd be all for it.

--- i chose never to be a part of my daughters' lives, and it was the worst decision i've ever made. i'm sure you already know this, but it might help to hear it from someone else who genuinely knows the alternative - no matter how hard it is, sticking by your kid and following through as a parent will ultimately be the most rewarding path to take.

well, it's never too late to change that or at least to try. you're welcome to come over and pretend that my daughter is yours anytime you wish. i just wish my situation wasn't complicated. i want simplicity in life but it's never so easy.

ava's father, nicholas, was my best friend and we were always together and the birth of our daughter didn't change that. we lived together for years but the last few months things have gotten complicated. there has been a lot of tension between us due to many circumstances and finally it reached the breaking point. he moved back to his family's house and now we divide our time with ava. things are just never how it should be now.
asdjgkajsg but i really don't want to talk about all of this. it's absolutely no fun and completely depressing.

--- oh shit, that's a super awkward arrangement. even more awkward than the average! but if you guys are that tight you'll work something out eventually, and the truth is you're probably better off not living together. let me guess, you've got feelings for this guy?

well, i did have feelings for him but i don't think i can necessarily get over all that's happened. i'll always love him but i just don't know if it will ever be the same.
